(February _19_, 2010) – Raising a glass to local wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs, California’s only five-star, five-diamond resort is announcing a 2010 partnership with Learn About Wine, the acclaimed Los Angeles wine education program founded in 1995 by Professional Sommelier Ian Blackburn. The first phase of the Orange County partnership will kick off at St. Regis Monarch Beach in March and continue through the end of year, providing a variety of programming for area oeneophiles. “For nearly 15 years, I’ve made it my mission to enhance the appreciation of fine wine in Southern California,” said Blackburn. “I can’t think of a more perfect Orange County partner than St. Regis Monarch Beach, as they are equally committed to providing only the best to their guests.” From individual one-night classes covering a range of topics to a 4-week “L.A.W.
